Hina Mochizuki (望月姫愛, Mochizuki Hina) is an angel and the older sister of Haruka Mochizuki as well as the first-born daughter of Kyōko Mochizuki and Ryūji Mochizuki. She was born and raised in Stellaria. At the age of 23, she was attacked by demons and presumed dead for almost 20 years. She is in a relationship with the demon lord Valkyro and is therefore the Lady of Hell.
Appearance
Hina has dark violet hair, which reaches down over her bottom. However, she often wears it tied up in two low buns. Her eyes are light brown, but changed to a golden color in her angelic form when she reached the age of majority. She also has pointed ears in her angelic form. Just like her younger sister, she also has quite a few angel marks, which she got along with the golden eye color when she reached adulthood. She also had very large angel wings with white feathers up to before the demon attack. However, she lost them during the attack and since then has two large scars on her back. She also has a rather noticeable mole on her right breast.
In her free time, she usually wears quite elegant and chic clothes. These are usually dresses or skirts, which she combines with blouses, for example. Both dresses and skirts tend to be short and no longer than the knee, unless it is evening wear. She also often wears slightly transparent black tights, but not always. In general, she has a good sense of fashion and always knows how to dress appropriately and tastefully, even when she was younger.
When she still lived in Stellaria with her parents and worked in the large library of Stellaria, she often wore her work clothes. This consisted of a white blouse, a dark purple, almost black pencil skirt with a small slit on the right side, black, slightly transparent tights and black pumps. She also carried a kind of ID card with her.
When she accompanies Valkyro to events, she usually wears quite expensive, elegant evening wear that is also appropriate for the event. They are often long evening dresses, usually in a purple color, but this is not always the case.
While she was still living in Stellaria, she often wore a necklace with a hydrangea pendant. She gave this to Valkyro the night before the attack. After they met again when Hina returned years after the attack, she decided that Valkyro should keep the necklace.
Personality
Hina is a very empathetic person. She cares lovingly for others and is very supportive of the weak. However, she can also be strict when she considers it appropriate. She is very determined and knows exactly what she wants. She is also very disciplined. Normally, she is also a person who follows rules. However, if she feels it is appropriate in a specific situation, she does not hesitate to ignore them.
In contrast to her younger sister, it is quite difficult to embarrass Hina and it is extremely rare for her to blush. However, what she and Haruka have in common is that it's better not to make her angry. She doesn't get angry easily, but once she is, it's better to be careful not to make her even angrier.
Relationships
Hina and Valkyro met by chance in Stellaria when the demon was there on work-related business. After that, they met again by chance in Kyōto. From then on, they met more often and became closer before she finally became Valkyro's lady. However, they are not married yet.
Haruka is Hina's younger sister. When Haruka was little, Hina always took care of her and looked after her. At least until the demon attack. The two have always had a good bond, even after Hina returned after almost 20 years.
Hina gets on very well with her mother and the two have always had a close relationship. She also has many similarities with her mother. Even after her return, the two still have a close bond.
Hina and her father get on very well, even if there were phases in her teenage years when the two occasionally argued. Nevertheless, she loves her father very much and is very grateful to him for his efforts to get the Highest to help her. The two remain very close even now.
She and Akaya met after Hina's return. Before the attack, she had only heard bad things about the demon of misfortune, which is why she was suspicious of him when she first met him. But now they get along quite well and she knows that he would do anything for her little sister.
She and Seishin first met by chance at Valkyro's estate. The two immediately got along very well and became very good friends. Even after her return, the incubus and she are still close friends.
The tengu lady is Hina's best friend. They met through her parents at the Kuroha Ryokan when Hina was still a child and they have been good friends ever since. Because of Nanami alone, Hina regularly went to Kyōto to visit her friend when she was a little older. After her return, the two are in touch again and see each other from time to time, usually at the ryokan.
Like Nanami, she also met Shin at the tengu ryokan. They are both very close friends, even after her return.
Hina only knows Mariko from when she was a little child, as she is Haruka's age. She hasn't met the tengu since her return, but she knows that she and Haruka are good friends.
Hina has met the Yuki-Onna a few times by now. So far, the two are getting along well and a good friendship could certainly develop in the future.
During her many visits to the ryokan, Hina met Yuito, who worked there for a while and is also good friends with the tengus. The two are quite good friends, even if contact has been lost in between, even before Hina's “death”.
So far, she and the witcher have only met once and therefore don't really know each other. But since Hina and Yuito are friends, just like Shaira and Haruka, the two will probably meet more often in the future.
The two had only met briefly through Yuito and had hardly seen each other. However, since Hina started working in her parents' bakery after her return, the two have seen each other more often and get on very well.
Hina only knew Ren when he was a child. He used to visit from time to time to play with Haruka and back then she thought he was a sweet kid. Since her return, they haven't met and she doesn't know what he's like now. However, she had thought that he and Haruka were still friends, which Haruka then clarified.
The first time she and Sayuri met was very briefly at the Kuroha Ryokan, a while before the demon attack on Hina. After her return, the two women met again. They don't know each other too much, but they get along well so far.
Hina didn't have the best relationship with her aunt from an early age. Before the attack, the twins were still very young and Hina only saw them briefly. Since her return, she has had no contact with any of them.
